Becoming A Productivity Boss

There are four months left of the 2019 year and we want to make sure you’re seizing everyday. Continue reading below to learn 5 productivity tips to become the best Boss you can be!

morning routine
getting a morning routine down not only helps with getting you out the house on time! It also helps to create healthy patterns of behavior. write down your morning routine (starting from when you wake up to when you start working.) and place it in your bathroom

ceo time
before getting to work, one thing that has helped me is to place a block of CEO time in my schedule. during this time, I make a list of things I need to get done. Then, I decide whether I would like to delegate a task or do it myself. by taking this time to pause and plan, I am able to address what needs to be done and put a productive plan in place.

create a block schedule
after you’ve had time to delegate task to yourself, block off a schedule by every few hours. For example, this is how I blocked off time today: 9 AM - 12 PM → AM Work 12 PM - 1:30 PM → lunch 1:30 PM - 4 PM → PM Work 4 PM - 5 PM → day review during each of these block, I place task that need to get done. I know that I want to make sure all emails are out by 12 PM so I place that into my AM work.

self care is key
you deserve the love + dedication you give to everyone else ( & that includes your job). throughout the day, if you’re feeling tired take a break. whether thats doing a sudoku puzzle or listening to an inspiring podcast, step away from the work just to breathe. these simples pauses will allow you to clear your mind and 9/10 when you get to work you have a more positive view on whatever it is you were working on.

ask for help
You. cannot. do. everything. alone. and that is okay! Do not be afraid to ask for help. I have been working on a list of tasks for two weeks. once I paused and asked my friends + family for help, they were able to get it done within two hours. allowing those who have been placed in your life to help you, helps to alleviate some of the stress you may feel when you have a lot on your plate.
